A VISION FOR A NEW WAY OF LIVING

ON OLIVE BLENDS DISTINCTIVE DESIGN WITH A CONNECTION TO NATURE & COMMUNITY

For 30 years, the developers of On Olive remained faithful to their vision of an architecturally significant residential neighborhood in the heart of the Grand Center Arts District.

They envisioned an enclave of cozy pathways that wind through gardens, community gathering spaces that encourage vibrant social connection among neighbors and intimate private residences built for nurturing family, welcoming visitors and entertaining friends.

In 2019 they broke ground with the steadfast belief that original modern homes by notable architects would find an enthusiastic audience among art and architecture aficionados—and with the heartfelt conviction that supporting original works by some of the great international architects of this generation would inspire the next generation of designers, architects and artists.

Following in the footsteps of visionaries like Henry Wright who created some of St. Louis’ most notable historic neighborhoods—and whose livable, human-centered urban planning concepts continue
to exert their influence a century later—they set out to create a new style of neighborhood that encourages connection to nature and community.
